Who we are
MediaTech Groups’ journey was started by Mr. Sherif Said-a true Egyptian entrepreneur. “MediaTech For Electronics Accessories” was established in 1998 with the objective of it being a solely importing entity for electronics accessories. In 2010, the company’s importing activities expanded into the “Small Home Appliances” category adding significant revenues and brand presence. In response to the new business environment in Egypt in 2016, a major strategic decision was taken-that of establishing “MediaPro For Manufacturing” to serve as the industrial arm of MediaTech. This marked the establishment of “MediaTech Group” with its importing and manufacturing arms. Manufacturing began in 2018 with the vision of being capable of satisfying the demands of the local market in the short term and to allow for exporting in the mid and long term. In 2022 the group will be moving to its new, highly modern and efficient Headquarters and Manufacturing facility at “6 October Industrial Zone.” This move will lay the groundwork for entering new categories in both the Electronics and the Appliances businesses while also providing the capacity for achieving the Groups short and long terms objectives.
